Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it's no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco.  Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions - Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness.  The emotions live in Headquarters, the control centre inside Riley's mind, where they help advise her through everyday life.

As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley's main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.

This incredible animated movie is a must see for all, and a fabulous way into discussing emotions with children!

Join us for a family afternoon in our beautiful open-air sala.  Bean-bags, popcorn and fruit, followed by a late afternoon swim (towels included)

Come into our loving, sacred space and experience:

Sharing together in circle
Getting in touch with ourselves
Dancing our desires and intentions
Expressing the dreams of our bodies
Connecting with the Elemental Energies of Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Spirit

We use cacao (chocolate) as a sacred medicine, an energizing spark, helping us to let go of ourselves and dance our emotions.  All this is held within a welcoming, safe environment.  We will practise sharing, listening, feeling deeply and being even more of our true and natural selves.

With love, reverence and playfulness, we welcome you....

Restorative yoga is a practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching.  It is a completely different experience than most contemporary yoga.

During the long holds of restorative yoga, your muscles are allowed to relax deeply. It's a unique feeling because props, rather than your muscles, are used to support your body.

Restorative classes are very mellow, making them a good complement to more active practices (as well as our busy lives) and an excellent antidote to stress. Stillness is a powerful practice.

Yoga Nidra offers us tools for stress relieve, deep relaxation and a calm mind, guiding us on an inward journey with full consciousness. It can be practised as an attainable form of meditation, cultivating awareness and allowing us to reach the most profound level of relaxation possible.

Nidra means sleep, meaning the yogic sleep originating in ancient tantric yoga tradition.  The ancient practise of Yoga Nidra equals the stage of Pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses) following Patanjali’s eightfold path of Ashtanga Yoga.

Yoga Nidra can be highly transformational as it works with our inner subconscious world of emotions, conscious awareness and our body sensations all at the same time.

Why not enjoy a Friday evening of Restorative Yoga with Natascha, followed by a relaxing Yoga Nidra meditation?
