About the Event
This workshop offers a gentle exploration of limiting beliefs to find the affirmation most needed in your immediate life to enable change. Rewriting limiting beliefs such as ‘I am not worthy’ into a positive, present affirmation - I am worthy - then repeating them in every possible moment, (particularly those when you believe them the least!) helps to rewire the brain.
The brain does not know the difference between a truth you feel and lie you tell it, and by repeating something you might not feel to be true YET, actually modifies the neural pathways. Over time and with repetition, an affirmation can become a felt belief. The practice of neurolinguistic programming (NLP) offers the science behind this.
Once you have your affirmation, enjoy a short visualisation and the meditative practice of painting it onto a basket to take home. This visual reminder can act as a prompt - it is not an exercise of perfection or judgment of how it looks, or even a finished ‘piece’.
