About Emma - Om with Em
Originally from Ireland, Emma’s yoga journey has led her from ashrams in Bali and Vietnam to meditation centres in Myanmar and Sri Lanka. Her preferences have changed over the course of this journey – from physically demanding styles like Ashtanga to slower, more grounding styles like Yin.
Whatever style she teaches, Emma works with her students to bring a more mindful approach to yoga, that they can apply to life off the mat.
Emma’s classes are suitable for all levels and include meditation/pranayama (breathwork) as well as physical postures. In this way, students learn to deeply connect with body, mind and breath so they’ll still get a workout – but will leave feeling calm and relaxed.
