Loving Awareness & Living Gratitude

About the Event
Did you know that neuroscientists have proven that a practice of gratitude actually makes you a happier person? Take stock of where you are right now, and the many things you already have that bring you joy. In this workshop we’ll explore gratitude as a practice and how this differs from an ‘attitude of gratitude’.
Gratitude can be felt, experienced and practiced for all situations, relationships and circumstances. Not only can this be deeply healing and validating on a personal level, but taking the time to offer gratitude to others also opens avenues to share joy and forge deeper connections.
It takes a whole minute for our bodies and minds to register and react to a feeling of gratitude, joy, love and compassion. By mindfully ‘catching’ these moments, allowing them, feeling into them and spending only 60 seconds with them, our bodies release a whole host of chemicals such as oxytocin (the happy hormone). With a series of short exercises and meditations, you’ll walk away from this workshop with tools to make this noticing a habitual response, immediately bring more gratitude into your daily life, and increase your capacity for joy!
